168HP Eurorack Rail, Lightweight, Low Profile, Black (one piece) for building your DIY eurorack case. These rails are smaller and lighter than the standard rails, therefore, are a perfect choice for portable eurorack cases! The basis of those rails is the same as in standard profiles but the entire bottom part of the profile has been removed. These changes in design allowed for a reduction of the weight by over -40%! Therefore our Lightweight Eurorack Rails are perfect for all sorts of portable DIY eurorack cases where weight is a crucial factor. Rails are anodized to black mat color – characteristic for exclusive, high-end eurorack cases.  Rails are equipped with a lip – for that reason, they are well suited for holding eurorack modules in place in perfectly aligned horizontal lines.

EURORACK MODULES FIXING

Besides rails, you will most likely also search for modules fixing to hold the modules securely in place. We’ve got you covered! Especially for that purpose, we have for you M3 Sliding Nuts or M3 Threaded Strips – all you need to do is to choose what is your preference.
A suitable size of screws to fix the modules to the rail (assuming a module’s faceplate thickness of 2mm) is an M3 x 6mm or M3 x 8mm if a washer is used. To prevent scratches on the module’s front panels we recommend using Anti Rack Rash Screws.

INSTALLATION INSIDE EURORACK CASE

You can install rails inside your case in two ways:

  • First – you can drill holes in your case and fix the rails to the case sides using M5 bolts – you can find a wide range of bolts to choose from in Eurorack Accessories.
  • Second – this method is perfect for everyone who wants to be sure that eurorack rails are perfectly spaced and who prefers to avoid drilling holes in the case. Use our plastic or aluminum side brackets – we manufacture them in all possible sizes: 1U (Pulp Logic standard) | 1U (Intellijel standard) | 3U | 4U (Pulp Logic standard) | 4U (Intellijel standard) | 6U
